White is hot! Plus: Styling tips
Otherwise: Go like this! But in summer, white clothes are turning into real it-pieces every year – even in tone-on-tone combinations. Here are pieces in our favorite non-color.
Wearing a white blouse? Sure! That really works at any time of the year. But exactly in summer, when the first rays of sunshine allow us to get the airy clothes out of the closet, the white parts come out in large numbers. Suddenly it’s totally ok to wear white pants with a white shirt. The rest of the year we’d be thinking: nurse! (Ok, it’s a bit cliché, but the truth.) But during the hot season, white just comes up trumps.
But there are some styling rules to follow when throwing on an outfit like this…
Styling tips for white outfits:
Do you have a very fair complexion? Better stay away from white outfits. They make you in doubt only paler. However, if you get a nice tan quickly, you can wear such a bright outfit well.
You have strong legs and a lush buttocks? Here too, be careful when buying pants. Unfortunately, light-colored pants have the disadvantage that they are visually bulky and therefore quickly make you look fuller. If you still don’t want to miss out, go for white trousers (made of linen, for example) without pockets on the bottom and with little stretch.
Not all white is the same! Even the non-color has different nuances. So if you want to combine two white parts with each other, you should check beforehand if they are the same color. Otherwise, a white can suddenly look dirty yellowish.
No matter whether white blouse or white trousers: What is decisive is what comes underneath. Always take lingerie in nude, otherwise it quickly looks cheap. Because nothing is worse than black lingerie that peeks out. However: On top you can also play with beautiful lingerie. A pink bra strap flashes a little under a slightly transparent blouse, which can also set highlights.
White has a disadvantage: it gets dirty quickly and must be washed often. Always pinibel make sure that the white favorite piece looks impeccable. If the fabric eventually turns gray or yellowish, please part with it.
White is a great combination partner for many colors in the summer. For example, if you like it delicate, go for white pants with pastel top. Blue tones (also in combination with red) look great and conjure up a touch of Mediterranean feeling on the body. A plain white outfit gets the noble kick with golden accessories and sandals. Tip: the white outfit looks best when combined with a maximum of two other colors – so the look is clear and accentuated.
